Do you hear that? It’s the sound of thousands of well-heeled toes tapping expectantly in anticipation of Fashion Month. Nowhere are they tapping more fervently than in New York City – because NYFW is just a few weeks away, and so is the 6th bi-annual Independent Fashion Bloggers Conference!

The landscape of fashion blogging changes and evolves constantly, and IFB is always on the pulse of what’s next so you’re never a step behind. February 8th’s conference at Milk Studios will bring together some of the best and brightest personalities in our industry to discuss the issues, challenges and exciting future of fashion blogging and social media.

Fashion Delivers: The Pre-Shows at Sandbox Studio

It its continued effort to support fashion and charitable organizations, AriZona Beverages has partnered with Fashion Delivers for The Pre Shows at Sandbox Studios in New York City on January 27th. The event will feature up-and-coming fashion designers and will benefit Fashion Delivers, an industry-based charity that provides poverty and disaster relief.

As a unique way of giving back, AriZona will produce limited edition t-shirts created by the designers, which include Man vs. Machine, Karoline Zmarlak, and Shumaq.  AriZona will give 100% of the profit made from sales of the t-shirt back to Fashion Delivers. The t-shirts will be sold on AriZona’s website and Facebook page, which reaches almost 3 million fans.

The event will feature a silent auction, runway shows for each designer and an after party. AriZona Beverages will provide non-alcoholic drinks as well as its new malt beverage, Arnold Palmer Hard. The balance of “ones who look” and “ones who are watched” is played out in a series of images that display an intense mood of cool sensuality – a tropical hideaway where models act on the impulses of intrigue and desire.

The campaign stars models Barbara Palvin (IMG) and Alex Cunha (DNA) shot by fashion photographer Matthew Scrivens (A|X Armani Exchange), styled by Sally Lyndley (Camilla Lowther Management), hair by Neil Moodie (Tim Howard), make-up by Virginia Smith (Streeters) under the creative direction by Tom Jarrold (CMO for A|X Armani Exchange).

THE LOCATION:

This two-day shoot was shot on location at the Ace Hotel, in Palm Springs, California. The location plays part to the overall theme of escapism, the attitude of youthful optimism and glamorous exhibitionism, while highlighting this seasons soft, clean, and sophisticated pieces that have made A|X Armani Exchange the label of choice.

THE LAUNCH:

“Style Surveillance” will break in February 2012, with a series of black and white images in national media including print, outdoor and online. The print campaign program will consist of spreads and single page ads featured in magazines including GQ, ELLE, Glamour, People Stylewatch, OUT, Men’s Health, Nylon, V Magazine, and VMan. The campaign will also be featured on signature billboards in major cities such as New York and Los Angeles and online with an enhanced digital program.
